Summer History Camp is a great opportunity for kids to learn that history can be fun! Camp is everyday at the museum from 9:30 - 12. Each day will focus on a different aspect of the region's history. Topics this year include:
communication technology
special tour of Myrtle Hill Cemetery
Civil War cooking and artillery demonstrations at Ft. Norton
19th century games
World History day (medieval times)
The cost is $50 per child for members and $85 per child for non-members (includes a one year family membership to the Rome Area History Museum).
